HPV (human papillomavirus) is a very common infection transmitted through intimate contact. Most people experience it without symptoms, but certain high-risk HPV types may, if they persist long term, be associated with the development of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and oropharyngeal cancer. The at-home HPV test allows you to detect the presence of high-risk types conveniently and discreetly, without visiting a medical office.
How it works
You order a test kit and perform a simple vaginal self-collection at home according to the instructions. You then register your sample and request form on the portal comfortlab.cz and send the sample back to the laboratory. You will receive your results electronically within 10 working days from the time the sample is received by the laboratory (via a secure results portal). The package also includes an informed consent form and a prepaid return envelope.
Choose your test option
Basic version – CZK 1,190 (VAT included)
Detects at least 14 high-risk HPV genotypes,
with separate identification of HPV 16 and HPV 18.
Extended version – CZK 1,600 (VAT included)
In addition to high-risk types, it also includes selected low-risk types
(e.g. HPV 6 and 11), which may cause
genital warts.
Important information
A positive result does not mean cancer – it indicates the presence of an HPV infection and it is advisable to consult your gynecologist or general practitioner. Do not perform the test during menstruation and follow the instructions carefully (e.g. avoid using vaginal products before sample collection).
